Natatorium open on Tallulah Falls School campus

After several years of construction, the new natatorium at Tallulah Falls School is now open.

On Feb. 17, Ron Cantrell of Ron Cantrell Construction, Inc. delivered a commemorative key to President and Head of School Larry A. Peevy.

“We are delighted to celebrate the completion of this remarkable multi-purpose showcase facility. This capital investment illustrates the continuing commitment of the board and school leadership to our learning community,” Peevy said. “This is another great project made possible by our long-time construction partner Ron Cantrell and his staff.”

The $16 million state-of-the-art facility features a 10-lane competition-sized pool with seating for up to 240.

The natatorium will be home to the 博鱼体育APP competitive swim team and used for physical education classes, including SCUBA, boating, and water-related safety courses. It will be open for recreational use for students, faculty and staff.

RCCI, Inc. of White County partnered with architect George Hlavenka of Hawaii on the project.

The school hopes to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in April.
